Our first stop will be at the impressive Gandan Monastery, which houses the stunning 26-meter gilded statue of Megjid Janraisag. We'll then proceed to the National Museum of Mongolia to explore the country's rich cultural and historical heritage. Afterward, we'll take a leisurely stroll around the bustling Main Square.

Following a hearty welcome lunch at a top-notch Mongolian restaurant, where you'll find a wide range of Mongolian cuisines that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. We'll also visit the newly opened Chinggis Khaan Museum, where we'll marvel at a fascinating collection of archeological artifacts from the Mongolian Great Empire, led by the legendary Chinggis Khaan. As the day draws to a close, we'll drop you off at your hotel. Get some rest and prepare for more exciting adventures tomorrow!

Early in the morning, we will board a flight to Ulgii, the vibrant center of Bayan-Ulgii province in western Mongolia. Upon arrival, we'll transfer directly to the site of the Eagle Festival. Immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere of this annual event, where we will spend two full days experiencing the rich Kazakh culture and witnessing the ancient tradition of hunting with Golden Eagles. The festival highlights the very best of Kazakh heritage with a colorful parade of Kazakhs proudly displaying their magnificent eagles. Expect exciting horse and camel races, archery contests, and engaging traditional games throughout the celebration.

Today, we will have the unique opportunity to visit a Kazakh eagle hunter's family and immerse ourselves in their fascinating culture. Witness the remarkable bond between the Kazakh nomads and their majestic Golden eagles as they prepare for the highly anticipated event the next day. After spending time with the Kazakh family and gaining insights into their ancient art of eagle training, we will share a delightful lunch with them. Later, we will transfer to a Ulgii, embark on a cultural exploration of the area as we visit the (optional) local museum, where you can delve into the fascinating history and heritage of Bayan-Ulgii province. Next, we'll visit a local mosque, offering a glimpse into the region's religious diversity and cultural tapestry. Immerse yourself in the unique ambiance of this peaceful place of worship.

In the morning, we'll take a flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your next destination—Hustai National Park, located about 100 km west of the city. The park is home to the endangered wild horse, the "Takhi" or Przewalski's horse, native to the region. During a late-morning excursion, you'll have the chance to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Hustai also offers a small museum, opportunities for hiking, bird watching, and an immersion into traditional nomadic culture. After hiking around the scenic hills, you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Our next destination to visit is Bayangobi sand dunes & the picturesque Khugnu Khaan Mountain. Arrive and check into Ger camp, and have lunch there. We visit the ancient ruins of Erdene Khamba monastery. Get ready for some hiking and a thrilling 1-2 hour camel ride on the sand dunes, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Next up, you'll visit a nomadic family and have the opportunity to learn how to make a traditional Mongolian dish with the help of a local housewife. Enjoy your homemade creation for dinner and savor the authentic flavors of Mongolia. And experience the daily life of the nomads and taste their traditional dairy products. Back to the camp, rest, and overnight.

After an exciting journey, we'll make our way back to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival in the city, indulge in a spot of shopping for cashmere and souvenirs, taking home some treasured mementos to remind you of your incredible time in Mongolia.
