Photo diary: Collin & Brenton's trip
Collin Dekker and Brenton Gates are seasoned travelers from the USA who embarked on a remarkable journey to Mongolia in September 2023. During their ten-day expedition through Central Mongolia and the Gobi Desert, an extraordinary event unfolded.
On the second day of their trip, they found themselves in a rural Mongolian village, and were kind enough to visit on the first day of school for local children (September 1st). Their hearts brimming with compassion, Collin and Brenton graciously delivered an impromptu speech during the school's opening ceremony. Their words resonated with the young audience, offering them encouragement and hope for the future.
As a touching gesture, they also distributed small gifts to the eager first-graders. This act of kindness not only brightened the day for these students but also ignited dreams of a promising future. Who knows, among those budding scholars, a future world traveler may have been inspired, setting out to explore diverse cultures and horizons, all thanks to Collin and Brenton's inspirational visit. Such acts of generosity possess the power to create a lasting positive impact in our world. Get some inspiration about their trip in Mongolia in the following photo dairy.
