Arrival in Seoul, South Korea. After customs formalities and luggage collecting meet your Korean-speaking driver and transfer to Seoul. Hotel Check in to Seoul. No meals are planned for this day.

Meet your English-speaking guide in the morning and visit the:

• Gyeongbokgung Palace: Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the largest of all five palaces.

• National Folk Museum: Located inside Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum of Korea presents historical artifacts that were used in the daily lives of Korean people in the past. Through the displays, visitors can learn about the domestic and agricultural lifestyles, as well as Korea’s cultural beliefs.,

• Pass by the Blue House.

• Kimchi Museum with Kimchi making experience: Museum Kimchikan is a unique museum dedicated to kimchi and kimjang, the process of making kimchi which was designated as UNESCO Intangible

• Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The museum was also selected by CNN in March 2015 as one of the world’s top 11 food museums. Visitors can learn the history of kimchi as well as learn and get a taste of the different types of kimchi. Audio guides in English, Japanese, and Chinese are available for international visitors and a guided tour of the museum by a docent is also available at designated times.

Today we will learn more about the history of the Korean War and the Cold War on this educational guided DMZ tour. Places such as Imjingak Park, the Freedom Bridge, the Third Infiltration Tunnel, and the DMZ Exhibition Hall will be visited. And have a bird’s eye view of North Korea through the binoculars located on top of the observatory towers.

Return to Seoul in the evening, and transfer back to the hotel. B, L.
